Celebrity chef and Food Network star Nancy Fuller is coming to the New York Kitchen Sept. 27-29 for a weekend of interactive demonstrations, a VIP cocktail hour and dinner event, and meet-and-greet book signings of her cookbook, “Farmhouse Rules: Simple, Seasonal Meals for the Whole Family.”
Registration is open for a chance to meet and cook with the famed chef, author, farmer and judge for Food Network’s hit series “Holiday Baking Championship” and “Spring Baking Championship,” and host of the seven-season in-kitchen show “Farmhouse Rules.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with celebrity chef and Food Network star Nancy Fuller,” said Bethany DiSanto, General Manager, New York Kitchen. “Her spirit and essence of what she brings to the food and agriculture industry, coupled with her love and ‘respect for the natural, organic relationship of the land, the farmer and the food’ truly aligns with our passion to educate, engage and excite our visitors. It’s going to be an incredibly special weekend.”
The festivities for fans and food lovers kicks off Friday, Sept. 27, with a FREE live cooking demonstration and book purchase and autograph opportunity at the Finger Lakes Welcome Center in Geneva, New York. A series of live cooking demonstrations, hands-on cooking classes, and VIP cocktail hour and dinner will be held throughout Saturday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Sept. 29 at New York Kitchen. Tickets for the events range from $50 to $100 (hands-on cooking classes include a signed copy of Fuller’s cookbook).
“I’m an Upstate New York girl, born and raised on a dairy farm where farm-to-table wasn’t a movement, it was a way of life,” said Celebrity Chef, Nancy Fuller. “I’m excited to come to the Finger Lakes region where there’s a shared passion and respect for the natural, organic relationship of the land, farmer, and the food.”
Fuller will recreate delicious dishes from her cookbook, “Farmhouse Rules: Simple, Seasonal Meals for the Whole Family,” for fans and food lovers to see and sample. Attendees will cook side-by-side with Fuller in the hands-on classes as she skillfully prepares some of her favorite dishes. Recipes will use locally sourced seasonal ingredients, which is important to Fuller who is an advocate for the region’s hardworking farmers and has promoted farm-to-table as a way of life since before it was a movement.
