Didi Gregorius stayed hot as the Yankees notched their seventh victory in nine games by outlasting the Twins, 10-7, in another wild slugfest on Wednesday evening at Target Field.
Gregorius’ two-run triple came as part of a three-run fourth inning and during a three-hit, three-RBI performance for the shortstop, who drove in 10 of the Yankees’ 30 runs in the series despite not starting in the first game. Gregorius (3-for-5) has 17 RBIs in his last seven games.
