Sheriff Kevin Henderson reports the arrest of a Canandaigua resident following an incident at the Ontario County Jail on July 22nd.
Kyle Martin Carey, 18, of Canandaigua was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing following an investigation into events at the Ontario County Jail earlier in the day on Monday.
Deputies say that Carey is an inmate at the Ontario County Jail and attempted to choke another inmate during an incident.
Carey was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge at a later date.
