Auburn officials issued a notice of high water flows on the Owasco River in order to manage Owasco Lake levels amid the heavy precipitation affecting the area.
Starting at 8 a.m. Thursday, the river flow rate was expected to be at or above 1,000 cubic feet per second in order to keep lake levels at or below 713 feet. The high flow rate for the river is expected to last "the next few days," according to a city notice.
