Deputies report the arrest of a 29-year-old Farmington resident following an investigation into Section 8 housing benefits, which were illegally obtained in Ontario County.
Alissia King, 29, of Farmington was charged with grand larceny after receiving more than $5,500 in benefits she should not have received, according to deputies.
The benefits were received from the Geneva Housing Authority.
Deputies say that King failed to report individuals who were living with her to the Geneva Housing Authority.
She was arrested and issued an appearance ticket.
