An Auburn man who had previously tried to minimize his involvement in methamphetamine production at his home last year, took responsibility before being sentenced Thursday in Cayuga County Court.
Timothy Hutton Sr., 54, of Orchard St., was one of several people found to be involved in cooking methamphetamine when police raided the residence in November 2018. Hutton was sentenced by Judge Thomas Leone Thursday to five years in prison and five years post-release supervision for second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, which he pleaded guilty to in April. That sentence had been agreed upon as a part of the plea.
