Former Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould will be leading the United Way after recently being named President of the Board of Directors.
He had been on the board for a number of years before he retired at the end of 2018.
Gould succeeds Lynn Marinelli as president of the United Way.
“Lynn did a great job,” he told Finger Lakes News Radio. “There’s going to be a few changes. Little changes. Nothing heavy,” he added. ”
The Former Sheriff has remained a staple in the community since retiring, and looks forward to his new role helping lead the United Way.
