Cayuga Community College is continuing a colorful tradition to help support an Auburn nonprofit.
Organized by Cayuga’s Faculty Association, the 'Cayuga Cares with Color Run' takes place next month. This run/walk started in 2015 and has grown every year.
The race will help support the Matthew House, a nonprofit residential facility in the City of Auburn that helps people with a terminal illness pass away in comfort.
“We admire and respect what the Matthew House stands for. Their mission is essential in helping members of our community, and they rely solely on volunteers, donations and local support,” said Professor Shannon Reohr. “This run has benefited their organization in 2015 and 2017, and we wanted to keep this day and the event for them.”
