The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the morning, as the work week comes to an official end.
That advisory, which is in place for the risk of freezing rain this morning – ahead of some steady, rainfall expected later today – will expire at 10 a.m.
Ontario County is included in the Winter Weather Advisory.
For a vast majority of the region – rain will be the forecast driver today. It will likely be steady during the afternoon hours – before becoming light, and tapering off this evening.
Use caution on area roads during the morning hours; and remember that wet roads can cause challenges, too.
The weekend looks significantly better – with temperatures rising toward 60 on Saturday; and pushing into the 60s on Sunday.
