Katko, R-Camillus, sits on the House Homeland Security Committee and is ranking member of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection and Innovation.
Katko’s bill is cponsored by U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski, an Illinois Democrat, and U.S. Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick and Dan Newhouse, both Republicans.
