Dryden shooting suspect surrenders, in custody

State Police in Ithaca have reportedly arrested Eric J. McLaurin on Wednesday.

McLaurin, 32, surrendered himself at the Dryden Town Court at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Police started a search for McLaurin on March 12. He is accused of firing shots from a home on State Route 366 in the town of Dryden which prompted neighbors to shelter in place for hours.

He was arraigned on the felony charge of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail on $6,000 cash bail or $12,000 bond.

The investigation is on-going. More charges are likely.
