Generations donated $3,500 to the United Way of Seneca County’s Annual Campaign yesterday. The funds are a matching contribution to the money pledged by Generations’ Seneca County employees.
“I am thrilled to see so many Generations employees giving back to this community by donating their hard earned funds to the United Way. Their generosity is consistent with our Company’s core values, and we thought it appropriate to match their contributions”, said Menzo Case, Generations President & CEO.
The United Way’s fundraising campaign helps over 20 charitable, non-profit organizations and community initiatives that meet a variety of needs in Seneca County. Generations employees are also actively involved in the organizations that United Way partners with. Findings from our latest poll show that nearly 70% of Generations employees serve their community in volunteer capacities and give approximately 680 hours per month and 8,100 hours per year.
“We are so fortunate to have community partners like Generations and its employees who truly value and support our efforts here in Seneca County. We all recognize that only by working together can we truly have a lasting impact on our local communities and their continued generosity of both time and money to us and so many of our partners is truly appreciated”, said Rhonda Jasper, Executive Director of United Way of Seneca County.
