Lansing man arrested for robbing Tompkins Trust Company branch

Deputies said they arrested a 48-year-old Lansing man who robbed the Tompkins Trust Company branch in Lansing Wednesday morning.

Tompkins County sheriff's deputies said they responded to the report of the bank robbery at the branch located at 2251 North Triphammer Road around 11:10 a.m.



The suspect, Maurice Marshall, did not display a weapon during the robbery, authorities said. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and was later apprehended within an hour after the robbery occurred.

The Sheriff's Office received assistance from the New York State Police and the Cayuga Heights Police Department.
