State Police report the arrest of a Lyons resident following a traffic stop, which resulted in multiple charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated, and obstructing governmental administration.
According to Troopers, Talmadge J. Streeter, 29, of Lyons was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs, insufficient turn signal, criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal mischief, obstruction of governmental administration, and resisting arrest.
Troopers say that Streeter was stopped on Queen Street in Lyons for not using a turn signal. He was placed under arrest after failing standard sobriety tests.
According to police, he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine; and was held on no bail. He’s scheduled to reappear on February 21st and February 26th to answer the charges.
