Deputies say a 26-year-old Rochester man was arrested at Eastview Mall on drug charges after a brief investigation.
On Sunday at approximately 6:36 p.m. deputies responded to one of the main entrances of the Eastview Mall Parking Lot for the report of two males, inside a vehicle, using a hypodermic instrument.
Deputies say that they were told that there was a young child inside the vehicle, as well.
Upon arrival, deputies found Jakob Harrison Pollack, 26, of Rochester, injecting heroin intravenously into his arm while his 2-year-old daughter was in the back seat.
Deputies say he was also found to be in possession of heroin and multiple hypodermic instruments. He was subsequently charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance; and endangering the welfare of a child.
Pollack was transported to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
