Deputies say that on Thursday at approximately 3:35 p.m. they were called along with other first responders to a crash involving an SUV and utility pole.
They say Alexander Gardner, 19, of Canandaigua was driving on County Road 10 when he lost control his the vehicle in a snow drift and collided with the RG&E pole.
Error, group does not exist! Check your syntax! (ID: 28)As result County Road 10 was temporarily shut down as crews with RG&E worked the scene. A mailbox was also destroyed.
Deputies say that Gardner was cited for traveling too quickly for conditions. The roadway was reopened around 5:40 p.m.
