Unveiling of historic Pomeroy NY State Historic Marker

Cracker Box Palace at historic Alasa Farms is excited to announce that they will be receiving a historic Pomeroy Marker sign which will placed in front of the Main Shaker House, built in 1828. The New York State Historic Marker will be unveiled at a special revealing ceremony on May 21 from 10:30a.m. to 12:00p.m. at 6450 Shaker Road, North Rose, NY. The public is invited.
Trail Works, Inc. of Wayne County submitted a proposal to the Pomeroy Foundation last year and were delighted to learn that it was approved. This is a significant step in showcasing the important history that spans centuries in Sodus.
