Fall is close and it brings the bounty of amazing grapes here in the Finger Lakes. Join us for a fun and informative morning of making and preserving grape juice and grape jelly. We will be starting from fresh picked fruit and walking you through both processes. The class will cover safe hot water bath canning methods for both the juice and jelly. We will cover some big dos/don’ts of food preservation. Participants will be able to ask questions and take home jars of juice and jelly. This workshop is hosted by Cobblestone Springs and CCE of Yates with guest instructor Lisa Shrout, Master Food Preserver from CCE of Schuyler.
