Police said officers soon found a man matching that description in the 100 block of East Green Street and detained him.

The department identified him as Alexander McEver, 23, and said he was carrying approximately 10 grams of MDMA, also known as Ecstasy.

McEver was charged with second-degree harassment and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, each a Class B felony, police said.

He was arraigned before Judge Peacock and released on his own recognizance.

Police said McEver is due back in court at a later date.
