Ontario County sheriff’s deputies charged a Canandaigua man after investigating a reported violation of an order of protection at a Parkside Drive apartment Tuesday.
Ricardo Serrano, 38, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt following the call at 5251 Parkside Drive in the town of Canandaigua, the sheriff’s office said.
The release did not describe the conduct underlying the reported violation or identify the protected person.
Deputies took Serrano to the Ontario County Jail for centralized arraignment court. He was subsequently released with an appearance date in Canandaigua Town Court, according to the sheriff’s office.
