Two Bath residents face burglary and other charges after police investigated thefts and property damage in the Evergreen Street and Wilson Way neighborhood.
Aliceson M. Henry, 30, and Dustin F. Sly, 23, were each charged with two counts of petit larceny, third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. Sly was also charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Police received complaints from several residences Sept. 20. Investigators allege the two entered an unlocked shed, stole property and damaged a car on Evergreen Street, then stole property from an open carport on Wilson Way. Police also allege they used a stolen vehicle during the incidents.
Henry was arrested Sept. 24 on West Washington Street in Bath. Sly was detained in Elmira by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 25 and transferred to Bath police custody.
Both were arraigned and released. Bath police said Sly was turned over to state police on pending charges before his arraignment.
