A Broome County man has been indicted in connection with two daytime residential burglaries reported months apart in Big Flats, according to New York State Police.
Frank V. Criscitello, 36, of Johnson City was indicted by a Chemung County grand jury following investigations into burglaries reported Feb. 20 and April 17, 2025.
Troopers first responded to a home on Davenport Road on Feb. 20 after the homeowner returned and discovered the residence had been burglarized.
State Police investigated a similar burglary at a West Hill Road residence on April 17.
Police did not provide details about what was allegedly taken from the homes or explain how investigators connected Criscitello to the two incidents.
Criscitello was indicted on charges of third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
He was transported from the Broome County Jail to Chemung County Court for arraignment before being processed at the State Police barracks in Horseheads. He was then returned to the Broome County Jail.
