Tompkins Cortland Community College and Hartwick College plan to sign transfer agreements Sept. 29 that will give TC3 graduates in business administration and sport management a path into Hartwick bachelor's degree programs.
Students who transfer under the agreements will be eligible for a guaranteed scholarship of at least $10,000, according to an advisory from TC3. The colleges have not provided further scholarship terms or course-transfer details.
The signing is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Baker Commons on TC3's campus in Dryden. TC3 President Amy Kremenek, Hartwick President Laurel Bongiorno and TC3 Provost Aaron Tolbert are listed as speakers.
The colleges said the agreements are intended to let students who graduate from TC3 continue their education at Hartwick. The advisory did not specify when the transfer options will first be available to students.
