Wayne County sheriff's deputies arrested a 27-year-old Town of Ontario man Friday on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while ability impaired by drugs after investigating an April 2 vehicle and traffic complaint.
Deputies allege Drew Schafer was driving while impaired and submitted to a blood test to determine the drugs in his system.
The sheriff's office said laboratory results found a combination of drugs in his blood at the time of the incident; the release did not identify the drugs.
Schafer was processed and released with traffic tickets following his Sept. 11 arrest.
He is scheduled to appear in Ontario Town Court at 1 p.m. Sept. 22.
