The Waterloo Fire Department has filled several leadership positions through a midterm election that will carry officers through the remainder of the current term, which runs until April.
The department announced the results following elections held this week, with several members moving into newly elected roles while others will remain in their current positions.
James Clark will serve as 1661, Steven Henninger as 1662 and Tom Weber as 1663. Lynn Swinehart was newly elected to the 1664 position.
The department also elected Justin Shaw, CJ Stevens and Matthew Millis as lieutenants, with Millis newly elected to the position. One lieutenant post remains vacant.
Karen Kitchen-Purnell was newly elected fire police captain, while Judy Ralston was newly elected fire police lieutenant.
Rob Wood was elected president of the department, and Clark was elected vice president.
The department said the officers will serve through the remainder of the term until April, when the next regular election cycle is expected.
