A 21-year-old North Rose man was charged with driving while intoxicated after Wayne County deputies investigated a report of a speeding vehicle without headlights in the town of Rose.
Deputies said they tried to stop Jaden Bush on Brick Schoolhouse Road around 2:52 a.m. Sept. 5, but he continued into a residential driveway and began getting out of the vehicle while drinking an alcoholic beverage.
Bush was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, according to the department.
Deputies said a breath test measured his blood alcohol content at 0.16%.
Bush was issued tickets for driving while intoxicated, failing to stop at a stop sign, nontransparent side windows, no or inadequate headlights, and consuming alcohol or possessing an open container in a motor vehicle.
He was then taken to the Wayne County Jail and released on tickets requiring him to appear in Rose Town Court at a later date.
