Dundee man charged after violating order of protection, deputies say

A Dundee man was arrested after Yates County sheriff’s deputies said he was found at the home of a person protected by an order of protection.

Kim L. Clark, 62, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, following the Sept. 5 incident in the town of Barrington.

Deputies said they responded after a 911 call and found Clark at the protected party’s residence on Porters Corners Road, where the order prohibited him from being.

Clark was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Barrington Town Court at a later date.

New York State Police also assisted at the scene, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
