A Bath woman was arrested after police said she tried to stab two people with a gardening tool during a disturbance last month.
Taylor Moore, 20, was charged with second-degree assault with intent to cause injury with a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon following the Aug. 20 incident, according to the Bath Village Police Department.
Police said officers were called to 56 Liberty St. at about 9:12 p.m. for a disturbance in progress that may have involved weapons.
When officers arrived, they found Moore allegedly attempting to stab two people, police said. An officer took her into custody after a brief standoff, during which Moore was allegedly armed with what police described as a dangerous gardening instrument.
Investigators did not provide information about whether anyone was injured during the incident.
Moore was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail.
