A North Rose man was charged after allegedly giving deputies a false name during an early-morning traffic stop in the town of Tyre, according to the Seneca County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they stopped William L. Bianco, 39, at about 4:06 a.m. Sept. 2 as he drove north on Route 414 with what authorities described as a loud or inadequate exhaust.
The Sheriff's Office alleged that Bianco provided a false name before deputies found identification documents in the vehicle and determined his driver's license was suspended.
Bianco was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, obstructing governmental administration, second-degree criminal impersonation and a traffic violation.
He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear Oct. 14 in Tyre Town Court.
