The Ontario County Sheriff's Office is investigating a series of early-morning burglaries and thefts Wednesday along Ackerman Way in the town of Farmington that involved stolen vehicles and property taken from vehicles.
In more than one case, investigators said the suspect or suspects entered occupied homes, located vehicle keys and drove away in the vehicles.
One of the stolen vehicles and property taken from a separate vehicle were later recovered at different locations in Monroe County, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies are asking residents with security cameras in the Ackerman Way, Townline Road and Ivory Drive neighborhood to review footage recorded between midnight and 6 a.m. Wednesday for anything that could help identify those involved.

The sheriff's office also urged residents to lock vehicles, garages and homes at night and whenever they leave their property.
