A Bath man was arrested Sunday after police said he registered an address where he wasn’t actually living, according to the Village of Bath Police Department.
Allen J. Horton, 41, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender with a prior conviction, a Class D felony, and falsifying business records, a Class E felony.
Police said Horton was arrested around 2 p.m. Aug. 31 following an investigation by the Bath Police Department.
Investigators alleged Horton had registered his address at a location where he wasn’t residing.
Horton was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail, where he was being held pending arraignment.
