The Crescent at Turning Stone in Verona has earned a AAA Four Diamond designation, joining a group of hotels recognized for upscale amenities and service.
AAA announced the designation Monday as part of its latest list of newly rated hotels and restaurants. Inspectors evaluate properties for cleanliness, comfort, cuisine and consistency.
The organization also added Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Minnesota and Sun Valley Lodge in Idaho to its Four Diamond hotel list. Two resorts in Nayarit, Mexico, received Five Diamond status.
AAA said about 1,750 hotels and 500 restaurants hold Four Diamond designations, while about 145 hotels and 65 restaurants have Five Diamond status.
