Waterloo man charged after exposing himself, damaging patrol vehicle

Waterloo police arrested a local man after he allegedly exposed himself in public and damaged a patrol vehicle while officers were taking him into custody.

Justin P. Voorhees of Waterloo was charged Aug. 26 with fourth-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and exposure of a person.

Police said the charges stem from an Aug. 23 incident in which Voorhees was allegedly acting disorderly in public.

As officers took him into custody, police said Voorhees dropped his pants and exposed himself, then head-butted the hood of a patrol vehicle, causing a dent.

Voorhees was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date.
