The Seneca Sounds Music & Arts Festival will bring live music, local art, food and family activities to The Cracker Factory in Geneva from 3 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.
The rain-or-shine event will feature regional bands playing funk, jam, Americana, rock and other styles, along with local artists and makers, food vendors, interactive installations, live performance art and fire dancing after dark.
Admission costs $20 in advance or $30 at the door. Children younger than 16 may attend free with an accompanying adult.
A dedicated Kids Corner will offer hands-on activities from the Dove Block Project and the Boys & Girls Club, including face painting, a collaborative chalk mural, hula hoop making and stilt making.
Organizers said the festival was created to bring people from across the Finger Lakes together around music, art and shared experiences while supporting the region’s creative community.
Seneca Sounds is a project of Geneva Community Projects and the Geneva Local Development Corporation, with support from the nonprofit Three Stories.
