A Geneva woman faces a felony assault charge after police said she intentionally used a vehicle to injure another person during an incident at Byrne Dairy.
Desiree Y. Mendez, 28, of Geneva, was arrested Friday following an investigation into the July 28 incident on Main Street, according to the Geneva Police Department.
Police said investigators determined Mendez intentionally used her vehicle to cause physical injury to another person.
Officers also determined a child younger than 17 was inside Mendez’s vehicle during the incident.
Mendez was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child.
