The Village of Sodus Point Board of Trustees will consider setting a public hearing on a floodplain law and review commercial dumpster rules when it meets at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20.
The agenda also includes continued work on an employee handbook, a proposed amendment to Chapter 141 of the village code covering property maintenance and a public comment period.
Mayor Dave Nolan, village trustees, Code Enforcement Officer Thomas Druschel and Village Attorney David Kendall are scheduled to provide reports. The board is also expected to consider approval of minutes from its July 16 regular meeting.
The clerk-treasurer's portion of the agenda calls for approval of village claims, but the posted agenda does not include a total or breakdown for the general, water and wastewater funds.
An executive session concerning personnel matters is listed under other business. The village said a Zoom meeting link will be added on the day of the meeting.
The board's next regular meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17.
