The Finger Lakes Community College women’s volleyball team enters the 2026 season with a championship standard to uphold as the Lakers pursue their sixth consecutive National Junior College Athletic Association Region III title.
After winning five straight regional championships and earning a fifth consecutive trip to the NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championship in 2025, FLCC returns several key contributors while welcoming a large group of newcomers.
Sophomore setter Olivia Scheuer leads the returning group after an impressive freshman season that earned her National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Second Team All-American honors. Scheuer was also named First Team All-Region III and First Team Mid-State Athletic Conference after recording 798 assists across 102 sets, an average of 7.82 per set.
Outside hitter Allyson St. Germain also returns after earning Third Team All-Region III and Second Team Mid-State Athletic Conference recognition as a freshman. She finished with 225 kills, 24 service aces and 276.5 points in 33 matches.
Ava Van Antwerp and Addison Paul provide additional experience from last season’s championship roster. Van Antwerp recorded 75 kills while hitting .246 during her freshman campaign.
The Lakers will also rely on several newcomers to help fill key roles. Jessie Powers arrives from Pittsford Sutherland after earning a spot on the 2025 Section V Class A All-Tournament Team, while Kamryn Eastman joins the program after receiving Second Team All-State honors.
Keira Dickens brings a strong defensive background to the libero position after being named Defensive Player of the Year three times during her high school career. Liana Beylo, Aubry Microni, Leilani Drake, and Newark native Jade Stoner round out the incoming class.
With an accomplished group of returners and several new contributors joining the program, the Lakers will look to extend one of the most successful championship runs in FLCC athletics when the 2026 season begins.
