A Bath man was charged with stalking after police said he repeatedly went to another person’s home despite being told not to return, causing the person to become fearful.
Randy Burdick, 47, was arrested at about 1:32 p.m. Aug. 14 and charged with fourth-degree stalking, a Class B misdemeanor, according to the Bath Police Department.
Police said the charge stemmed from Burdick continuing to show up at the victim’s residence without a legitimate purpose after he had been advised not to go there.
Investigators said Burdick had gone to the residence multiple times, causing the victim to fear for their safety.
Burdick was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail, where he was arraigned and released.
