The Cortaca Jug football rivalry will have a naming sponsor for the first time under a four-year partnership announced by Ithaca College, SUNY Cortland and Visions Federal Credit Union.
Beginning in 2026, the annual game will be called the Cortaca Jug presented by Visions Federal Credit Union. The agreement runs through 2029 and also includes financial-literacy programming for students during the fall and spring semesters.
The 2026 game is scheduled for Nov. 14 at Yankee Stadium. The rivalry will return to the schools' campuses for the 2027, 2028 and 2029 games.
The Cortaca Jug has previously drawn large crowds at professional sports venues. The 2022 game at Yankee Stadium drew 40,232 fans, while the 2019 matchup at MetLife Stadium attracted 45,161, a Division III attendance record.
Officials from both colleges said the partnership is intended to support the rivalry while expanding financial education for students. Visions Federal Credit Union operates in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
