A woman was charged with third-degree burglary Wednesday after Ontario County sheriff's investigators said she stole more than $1,000 in merchandise from a Victor Walmart where she had previously been banned.
Molly R. Melito, 30, of Canandaigua, is accused of taking $1,037.58 worth of merchandise from the store in the town of Victor on Sept. 21, 2025, according to a Sheriff's Office release.
Melito was arrested at about 3:20 p.m. Aug. 12 and taken to the Ontario County Jail.
She was held pending centralized arraignment court, investigators said.
