A Palmyra man was arrested after Wayne County sheriff's deputies said he shoved a woman and damaged her phone during an argument in Arcadia.
James M. Gears, 34, of Tellier Road in the town of Palmyra, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment following the domestic incident investigation, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies reported the arrest at about 11 p.m. Aug. 12. They alleged Gears threw the woman's phone, causing damage.
Gears was taken to the Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment court at 7 a.m. Aug. 13, deputies said.
