The Steuben County Fair returns to the Bath Fairgrounds from Aug. 17 to 23, according to the Hornell Tribune. The fair is billed as the oldest continually running county fair in the United States.
Admission is free Monday, $2 Tuesday and $5 from Wednesday through Sunday, with children 5 and younger admitted free.
Youth Days on Aug. 20 and Aug. 22 waive admission for people 18 and younger until 5 p.m.
The Coleman Bros. carnival opens Wednesday, and grandstand events include demolition derbies, truck pulls, rodeos and monster trucks.
The third annual Youth Livestock Sale is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, in the Livestock Judging Pavilion, with all proceeds going to the youth who raised the animals.
