The Steuben County Legislature's Administration Committee will consider personnel changes, legal claims and a contract renewal when it meets Tuesday, Aug. 11, in Bath.
The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. in the Legislative Chambers on the third floor of the county Annex Building. The county will also provide access through Zoom and by telephone.
Personnel requests
The agenda includes a request to create an inventory aide position in the Public Works Department with a listed salary range of $39,735 to $58,803. The committee will also consider appointing a deputy director of public safety at a salary of $98,665.
Community Services is seeking to reclassify a filled receptionist position as a typist position. The listed salary range for the typist title is $34,340 to $50,797.
Claims and contracts
The Law Department is scheduled to discuss notices of claim, while the risk manager is requesting a contingency fund transfer to the judgments and claims account.
The agenda also includes renewal of a contract with Employee Network Inc. and Bree Health, as well as a claim involving the city of Corning.
Other business
The committee will consider declaring property surplus for auction and confirming an appointment for commissioner of social services.
