Drivers on Route 14 in Geneva should expect daily lane reductions beginning Tuesday, Aug. 11, as crews start a pavement project, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The work zone will extend from Snell Road in the city of Geneva to the Yates County line in the town of Geneva. Traffic will alternate through a single lane under the direction of flaggers from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day except Sundays.
The project is expected to be completed by Aug. 27. The schedule could cause delays, and DOT advised motorists to use alternate routes when possible.
