A Lyons woman was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after Wayne County sheriff's deputies alleged she used duct tape in an attempt to restrict a 2-year-old child's arm movement.
Deputies arrested Rana Huston, 58, of Old Route 31 in the town of Lyons following an investigation, the Sheriff's Office said.
Investigators alleged Huston put duct tape on the child's biceps. The Sheriff's Office identified Huston as the child's custodial parent.
Huston was scheduled to appear for arraignment at 7 p.m. Aug. 5 in Lyons centralized arraignment court, according to the release.
