Seneca Falls police arrested a 36-year-old woman Tuesday following an investigation into allegations that she failed to properly supervise a child in her care.
Cassandra J. Premo of Seneca Falls was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, an A misdemeanor, police said. The department said the investigation involved multiple encounters with the child over about two months in which the child allegedly engaged in unlawful and dangerous behavior.
Police said those incidents created hazardous conditions for the child and other members of the public. The release did not provide details about the alleged behavior.
Premo was processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department and taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, according to police.
Police said an order of protection was requested on behalf of the child.
