A Rose woman was arrested after Wayne County sheriff's deputies accused her of striking two family members and throwing a cellphone as one of them tried to call 911.
Lauren K. Jock, 38, was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated family offense, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies said the incident happened Aug. 4 at a home on Wayne Center Rose Road in the town of Rose. The sheriff's office alleges Jock punched and slapped two family members several times after an argument that began over a printer.
One of the alleged victims was younger than 17, deputies said. Jock also allegedly took a cellphone from one of the family members and threw it while that person was trying to call for help.
Jock was arrested at the home, processed at the Wayne County Sheriff's Office and taken to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment in centralized arraignment court.
