A Port Byron woman was jailed without bail after Cayuga County sheriff's deputies accused her of threatening someone with a knife during a domestic incident.
Zacandra R. Flynn, 35, was arrested Aug. 3 on charges of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies said they responded to the reported domestic incident in the village of Port Byron at about 6:02 p.m. July 30. Investigators allege Flynn threatened another person with a knife and left before deputies arrived.
An arrest warrant was issued after deputies were unable to find Flynn in the immediate area. The sheriff's office said deputies located her four days later and took her into custody without incident.
Flynn was processed at the Public Safety Building and taken to the Cayuga County Jail for arraignment. The sheriff's office said she was remanded without bail because she was on parole.
