Nursing students from the Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing and Health Sciences will provide free blood pressure screenings during a community lunch in Geneva on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The screenings will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 340 S. Main St., and are open to people attending the lunch program.
Organizers said the screenings will give community members an opportunity to monitor their blood pressure and learn about heart health while giving nursing students hands-on experience.
Students plan to offer the service during the Community Lunch program on the second Wednesday of each month. Additional information is available through the Finger Lakes Health events calendar.
