A Seneca Falls man faces felony-level drunken driving charges after Waterloo police said they found him asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle moving along the shoulder of a road.
Francisco Feria Camacho, 54, was arrested at about 11:35 p.m. July 24 and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of 0.18% or higher.
Police said officers observed the vehicle slowly rolling along the shoulder with its brakes applied before finding Camacho asleep in the driver’s seat.
An investigation determined Camacho was intoxicated and had a blood alcohol content of 0.21%, according to police.
Camacho was issued traffic tickets and ordered to appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date.
